The San Antonio airport is a quick, 10 mile drive from the Riverwalk. There are plenty of Ubers or taxis to get you from the airport to downtown.

Once downtown near the Riverwalk area, you won't need to drive anywhere the rest of the weekend, unless you want to do some more sightseeing.

San Antonio Attractions

These are some of our favorite spots in San Antonio. We hope you enjoy the city as much as we do!

Shops at La Cantera

A beautiful outdoor mall with all the shops you'd expect and a restaurant for everyone. The mall is a bit of a drive from downtown, but you could easily make a day out of it, especially with Six Flags Texas right next door.

Pearl Brewery

With a farmers market on the weekend, some cool restaurants, and a brewery that was once home to Pabst, there is a great opportunity for fun at the Pearl.

The Alamo

As a symbol of the heroic Texan soldiers in Texas' war for independence, this is a must-see landmark while in San Antonio for anyone interested in history. Though we agree, it's less impressive than we expected.

Top Golf

If you like just one of the following: golf, drinks, food, or fun, you'll enjoy top golf. Trust us. And they have a great deal in the morning until noon, with half off the golf and a good brunch.

Tower of the Americas

A 750-foot-tall tower provides guests a spectacular view of the city. Enjoy the great panorama plus a drink or dinner from the tower's revolving Chart House Restaurant, take in the scenery from the Observation Deck, or try the 4D Theater Ride.

Sporting Events

And don't be surprised to see a bunch of Irish fans and soldiers, as Notre Dame plays Army at the Alamodome the night of the wedding.
